You will start your tour from Hurghada to Cairo day trip with the Egyptian Museum where you will see the treasure of the boy king Tutankhamon. You cannot come to Egypt without giving a visit to the Egyptian Museum with its 120000 artifacts.
The Museum is consisting of the ground floor and the first floor. On the ground floor, you can follow Egyptian history from the Archaic period till the Greco-Roman period. The first floor is housing the treasures of the tomb of king Tutankhamon especially his golden mask 10.3 KG of pure gold. Another highlight of the first floor is the royal mummies found in 1881, Yoya and Tuya treasures with the animal's mummies chamber.
One day will not be enough to visit the Egyptian Museum but with your guide, you will listen to the stories of the highlights of the museum.
Your visit to the Pyramids of Giza will last for about two hours and you will have the chance to be face to face to your dream. The Great Pyramid of Cheops Pyramid is the only wonder of the old seven wonders still standing today. The Great Pyramid is the oldest and the largest in the Giza plateau.
The pyramid has 8 sides and they used 3 different materials, normal limestone, fine white limestone, and granite. The great Pyramid covers more than 13 acres and it was 146 meters high. The pyramid consists of 2 300 000 blocks between 2.5 till 15 tons. Your guide will explain to you how they have to cut them, transported them, cut them into the size, and move them to the site. You can enter one of the smaller pyramids beside the great one called the queen's Pyramid (free of charge).
This is the best place to get a view of the Pyramids means all of them lined up. It is a perfect photo opportunity especially on camels if you like the Pyramids in the background. When the day is clear, it could be one of the most PHOTOGRAPHED AREAS in Egypt.
The last stop in your visit to the Giza Pyramids will be the great Sphinx which is one of the world’s largest monuments. The Sphinx measures 73 meters long and 20 meters high and is carved out of a single piece of stone. The sphinx is a human head statue and lion body most probably for the king Kharfe builder of the second Pyramid.
The valley temple was built at the same time as the Sphinx and the diorite statue of Khafre was found in it. Open your heart and mind and listen from your guide to the story of the broken nose, dream stele, and Tuthmosis IV. Take your photos before you leave the area.
At the end of your tour from Hurghada to Cairo, your driver will take you back to your Hotel in Hurghada with a 15 minutes break in the middle of the distance to use the toilet or have a drink.
