You will start your Luxor day tour with the Valley of the kings, the greatest, most popular, and most visited place on the West bank of the River Nile. Valley of the kings is the UNESCO world heritage site since 1997 and it has 62 rock-cut tombs for all the New Kingdom Pharaohs including the golden boy-king Tutankhamon. Enjoy visit 3 recommended tombs by your guide and admire some of the ancient sarcophagus, paintings, and stories decorating the walls of the tombs.

After your visit to the Valley of the kings, you will complete your tour to Hatshepsut temple. Hatshepsut temple is a unique mortuary temple and one of the most impressive sites in Luxor. Hatshepsut was the only female monarch to rule for every long term almost 23 years.

Hatshepsut temple was designed into the cliff and it consists of 3 terraces connected with two ramps. Here you can admire the royal propaganda the Queen made for herself called the divine birth. Also, you can see the Punt expedition decorating the south wall of the second terrace, Hathor chapel, and Anubis chapel.

You will end your West bank visit with the seated statues for Amenhotep III known as Colossi of Memnon. The Colossi of Memnon are the second-highest statues in Egypt after those of Abu Simbel. The statutes were badly damaged because of a fierce earthquake in Luxor in 27 B.C. Many cracks appeared in both statues that's why strange sounds were occasionally heard due to wind passing through the cracks. That’s why they called them the singing statues or the Vocal Memnon.

After enjoying your breakfast at your hotel, you will start your East bank visit with the Karnak temple. It is known also as the temple of Amun which is the largest religious temple in the world. Explore Karnak complexes like Hatshepsut Obelisks, Ramses Hypostyle Hall, Ramses III temple, and Amenhotep III Sacred Lake.

Luxor temple was connected to Karnak temple via Sphinx's avenue to celebrate the Opet festival. Luxor temple started by Amenhotep III (1390–1353 BCE) and was completed by Rameses II (1279–1213 BC). The temple was built parallel to the River Nile and was converted into Church. Luxor temple is decorated with 6 colossi statues for king Rameses II between seated and standing statutes. Also, the twin Obelisk of that one standing now in Concorde still can be seen in front of the Pylon.

At the end of your tour, we will drive you back to your cruise boat at Safaga Port.
