Imhotep, the genius architect built the Step Pyramid as the tomb of his Pharoah Djoser. Saqqara has a lot to offer like the Serapeum, Unas Pyramid with the famous Pyramids text, and The Southern Tomb. for this reason, do not leave Saqqara before you visit Imhotep Museum and look at the Mummies, statues, and food in jars they left in tombs.
End your day with the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx in the Giza Plateau. Your guide will open his information mine and tell you about ancient Egyptian religion. Egypt day tours to the oldest capital and the oldest Pyramid of Egypt start at the agreed time at the lobby of your hotel. Your Archaeologist guide will pick you up to start your day in Memphis.
Memphis was the capital of the first Nome of Lower Egypt and its name is derived from a word called Men Nefr means the white fortress or white walls. Memphis was the first capital of united Egypt and it was founded by the king Menes or Narmer.
Memphis one day had the temple of Ptah, his wife Sekhmet, and their son Nefertem. Unfortunately, almost everything from the oldest capital disappeared but you can still admire the enormous statue of Ramesses II in the open Museum, there are also the biggest movable Sphinx statue made out of marble and some sarcophaguses and steles.
From Memphis, you will head to Saqqara, the cemetery of Memphis. You will visit with your guide the pyramid of Djoser. It is known also as the Saqqara pyramid or step Pyramid. The site is one of the most important archaeological sites and it is the first Pyramid in Egypt and the first stone structure in history. Listen to your guide on how Djoser's vizier, Imhotep developed the tombs from Mastaba to Pyramid. Imhotep used the stones for the first time in history to build the tomb of his king. You will visit the House of the South Court and House of the North Court, the Serdab, the Heb-Sed court, and the southern tomb.
Now for the first time after 14 years of restoration, the step pyramid was reopened on the 5th of March 2020 and you can visit the Pyramid from the inside (against charge).

After lunch, you will head to Giza Pyramids where you will visit the three famous Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkawre. You will have many stops in the area like the Khufu pyramid. The great pyramid of Khufu is the only wonder from the old seven wonders. It took 20 years of hard work and about 2.300.000 blocks between 2-2.5 tons each.
You can then visit the second Pyramid of Khafre, the only one that keeps part of the casing near its very top. Then enjoy taking unforgettable photos from the panorama where you can see all the pyramids lined together. The last stop will be the great Sphinx and the Valley temple where they practice the last steps of the mummification for the mummy.
At the end of your Egypt day tours, you will head back to your hotel.
