After a freshly cooked lunch in a local restaurant, you will be taken to the oldest capital of Egypt and the important political and religious center, Memphis. You can marvel at the giant statue of Ramses II which lies on the ground in the open Museum. Also, the beautiful alabaster sphinx and so many ruins from the new kingdom.
You also get the chance to see the first stone structure in the world, the step pyramid of Djoser. You may also like to see one of the most beautiful tombs in Sakkara dates back to the sixth dynasty and the Pyramid’s text covered the interior walls of the Pyramid of Teti (against charge). At the end of your day, you will be driven back to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will start your tour to the Egyptian Museum where you can marvel at the treasures of King Tutankhamun. You can stare at some of the mummified bodies of local, rich, and royal family members from ancient times. Lose yourself to the many sections there, especially that one of king Akhenaton and his beloved Nefertiti.
Lunch in a local restaurant near the pyramid’s area then you will proceed with your guide to the Citadel of Saladin, the fortress built between 1176 and 1183 AD, to protect Cairo from the Crusaders. End your tour at the citadel with Mohamed Ali Mosque or the Alabaster Mosque which was built between 1828 and 1848. At the end of your day, you will go back to your hotel in Cairo.

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive to One of Egypt’s largest cities, Alexandria. It takes around 3 hours with a coffee break on the way. Alexandria is known as the Pearl of the Mediterranean and once was the site of one of the wonders of the world, a lighthouse.
Today you will have the chance to get a glimpse at Alexandria’s glorious past like Catacomb, the biggest tomb cut in the rock which is a mixture of Egyptian and Greco-Roman elements. then you will visit Pompey’s Pillar, the largest of its type and it is also one of the largest monolithic columns erected.
Enjoy your lunch in a local fish restaurant before you will go to the Citadel of Qaitbay. Qaitbay Fort Alexandria is situated at the entrance of the eastern harbor. It was built on the same site as the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. It was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Finally, and before we drive back to Cairo, you will visit the New Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina). The 11-story library can contain up to 4 million volumes of books. the library also contains other cultural and educational functions including a planetarium, several museums, a school for information science, and conservation facilities.
