In using the www.palmatours.net website you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions;

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice, and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We” and “Us”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves.

 

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing English Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

 

Transmission of Personal Data;

You acknowledge and agree that by providing Palma Tours with any personal information through the Travel Site for the purpose of registering on Palma Tours website, or reserving or purchasing products or services, you consent to Palma Tours sharing certain of that information with Service Providers solely as necessary to complete a transaction you have requested
Our liabilities & limitations:

Please note that after the finalization of the tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of monuments/museums, taxes, fuel cost, or guide charges by the Government of Egypt, the same would be charged as extra.  

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants, etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants’ safety, comfort & general well-being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines, etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes, the rates quoted before the modification can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on the usual check-in and checkout time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary

Delays & alterations

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accidents, breakdown of machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures, or any untoward incidents.

 

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation, or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

insurance policy

Palma tours do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Accommodation:
Unless otherwise stated, prices are based on two persons sharing a room (twin sharing). Rooms for single occupants are available with an additional supplementary rate. Hotels and lodges are named as an indication of quality and rooms may be reserved at an establishment of similar quality. Published prices are inclusive of tariffs and other costs at the time of printing and are subject to change without notice.

Flights:
Domestic Flights:
The programs quote the average price of flights with approximate timings. Requests for specific flight times or changes to previously booked reservations may result in changes to the total price of the package.

International Flights
Palma Tours can assist you with international flights if needed. However, from our experience, international flights are best issued from point of departure where the client has access to a wider range of price options and availability. The only way to pay for the international flights booked by Palma Tours is with a bank transfer to Palma Tours Account.

Special Requests:
If the Client has any special requests, he should inform the company at the time of booking. The Company and its suppliers will try to satisfy such requests, but, as these do not form part of the contract, the company does not guarantee to do so, including for pre-bookable seats. If the Company confirms that a special request has been noted or passed on to the supplier or refers to it on the confirmation invoice or elsewhere, this is not a guarantee to fulfill it

Documents:

It is the traveler’s sole and exclusive responsibility to have all required documents for the trip. The traveler must have a valid passport and any required visas according to the itinerary chosen. The traveler shall not be entitled to any refund if he or she fails to comply with the above requirements. Travelers will have to pay any expenses resulting from their failure to produce any required documents, in which case the voluntary cancellation policy shall apply. The same shall apply if any country’s authorities deny the traveler entry into their country.

Sightseeing Tours

Tours vary up to visiting museums and other historic sites. We also offer recommend different activities that you will surely enjoy. You may try scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, dolphin watching, diving, and more. You can also customize your own travel program that will fit your dreams and wishes. For customers who will book with us Sightseeing Tours only without a hotel, we add 0% Sales Tax and 0% Service charge in the final invoice.

Payment Policy:
Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the desired holiday. Space on a given tour will be secured upon receipt of a deposit of 25% of the full price. This payment will be 50% during the Christmas and New Year holidays and on packages including airfare. This deposit counts as part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or sent via Western Union or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment should be received within 7 days of booking. Apart from the above in some cases like special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year) full payment is required to be sent in advance.

Mode of Payment:

The overseas advance payment can be made through Bank wire transfer Western Union, or PayPal. The remainder balance can be made through currency notes or travelers’ cheques or through a Master / Visa credit card. In case of payment through credit card or wire transfer, the bank charges – as applicable – would be levied over & above the total amount.

Cancelation Policy

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be informed by Email. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive the Email in writing and it is as follows:

More than 40 days before your arrival, 6% of the deposit paid will be charged as a bank transaction fee.
Between 40 and 30 days before your arrival date, 25% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Within 29 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
From 14 and 7 days before your arrival date, 75% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 7 and 1 day before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.

Cancellation of the service by the Company.

The Company is not liable to any refund whatsoever if the cancellation of its service is due to Natural disaster, terrorist activities, Roadblocks due to labor/political strikes or any reason whatsoever, Government or Police intervention resulting due to any reason not under the purview of the Company, or any other reason whatsoever to which the Company is not directly or indirectly responsible for its occurrence.

However, if the Company is independently responsible for the cancellation of the service as in the opinion of the appointed Arbitrator, it would then be liable for full/ partial refund (as decided by the Arbitrator) to its clients affected by the service canceled.

Complaints:
If you have any complaints while you are in Egypt, please notify the company Palma Tours immediately because most problems can be solved quickly. If you feel that your problem persists call the chairman of the company while you are still on your tour with the Egyptian line you will receive and keep during your tour(15 euro if needed with 20 G); after you return home if you are still not satisfied with the service you received you must write to the Egyptian Travel Agent Association.

In the unlikely event that your complaint cannot be dealt with to your satisfaction by speaking to a Palma Tours staff member or the chairman of the company, you may refer your complaint to the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism in Cairo.
Refunds:
A refund will normally be made to the same account and using the same method used for the original payment. No refunds are possible in the event of a no-show for an existing reservation.

Children Policy:

Policy 1:

For packages, Nile cruises, and hotels
2 years old: free of charge
From 2 –  6 years old: 25% of total tour cost for an individual
Under 12 years old: 50% of total tour cost for an individual
All children 12 or older are considered adults.
If your tour package includes flights, an extra supplement for your child may apply.

Policy 2:

For sightseeing tours & shore excursions
under 6 years old: free of charge
Under 12 years old: 50% of total tour cost for an individual
all children 12 or older are considered adults.
If your sightseeing tours include domestic flights or ferry boats, an extra supplement for your child may apply.

Tipping:
Tipping is customary for expressing one’s satisfaction with good services rendered to him by staff on duty with him, we advise you to tip as you are willing. This will be greatly appreciated by staff, but you are not obligated to do so.
